Gaza’s Children is a nonprofit organization supporting the mental health of Palestinian children affected by war trauma and displacement.
About Gaza’s Children
Gaza’s Children was formed in response to the catastrophic humanitarian crisis resulting from the events of October 7, 2023. Thousands of children have lost their parents, been displaced from their homes, witnessed horrific violence and mass destruction, and endured life-altering medical trauma.
The psychological impact of these complex traumas is significant and will require ongoing mental health treatment. Our goal is to provide this support to as many children as we can reach focusing on the most effective interventions available.
What We Do
Support mental health providers in occupied Palestine and the surrounding areas hosting refugees
Collaborate with child trauma experts to research and deliver the best treatment modalities for Palestinian child refugees.
Raise awareness about the complex trauma experienced by Palestinian children and provide ongoing public education.
